ESWA Spring Open Mic Night!
(Note Special Time: 7:30-9:30 PM)

Grab your favorite beverage and join us for an incredible reading featuring the fabulous voices of ESWA members! Reading slots open to the first 30 people to sign up! First come, first served!

Readers will have up to 4 minutes to read. For prose readers, that's about 800 - 1,000 words depending on your speed. Poetry readers should plan on reading one longer poem, two shorter poems, or several haiku. Please time yourself as it's considered bad form to go over time. This reading will be recorded and available in the ESWA Video Archive for all ESWA members.

Literary Etiquette:

It is considered polite in the literary world to stay for the entirety of the reading, even after your reading is finished.  It is also considered polite to stay within your time limit.  Remember, always leave the audience wanting more.
