
The editors and guest editors of ൪uartet will each read a few of their own poems then will share poems selected for publication in the journal. They will talk about why they selected the poems, and about what catches their eye in submitted work. There will be opportunity for questions.

൪UARTET IS AN ONLINE POETRY JOURNAL designed by women over fifty to highlight the creativity of women fifty and over. We believe that at this time in a woman’s life we begin to surge, to come into our own. We believe experience speaks for itself, that by fifty we’ve accumulated enough courage to revel in our talents.
FRANETTA MCMILLIAN has been writing ever since her mother taught her how to hold a pencil. Her poetry, artwork, essays, and fiction have appeared in Dreamstreets, Gargoyle, Gargoyle Online, ൪uartet and others. For the past several years she has published the perzine, Fat Black Girl In A Wheelchair. She also has a poetry chapbook, published by Broadkill Press, Love, War & Music. She splits her time between Newark, Delaware and Avondale, Pennsylvania.
HEATHER DAVIS is a fan of 5 am writing sessions and strong coffee. Her book The Lost Tribe of Us won the Main Street Rag Poetry Award and her poems, stories, and essays have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. Recently, she lost her job of 25 years due to the illegal dismantling of the U.S. Agency for International Development. When employed, she is an editorial director and communications professional. She lives in Lancaster, PA with her husband the poet Jose Padua and their two fabulous kids.
JANE C. MILLER is the author of Canticle for Remnant Days (2024) and coauthor of Walking the Sunken Boards (2019). Her poetry has appeared in RHINO, Colorado Review, UCity Review, and Bear Review, among others. Her honors include the Naugatuck River Review Narrative Poetry Contest and two state fellowships in poetry. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart, Best New Poet sand Best of the Net. LINDA BLASKEY is editor at ൪uartet, an online poetry journal featuring the work of women fifty and over; poetry/interview editor emerita of Broadkill Review, and past coordinator of the Dogfish Head Poetry Prize. Her work has appeared in Best New Poets 2014, and North Carolina’s “Poetry on the Bus” project. She is the author of the prize-winning chapbook, Farm, the poetry collection, White Horses, and co-author of Walking the Sunken Boards, and Season of Harvest. Her short story “The Haircut” was selected for dramatic presentation by Philadelphia’s InterAct Theatre.
