Celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week with educators of all grades and subject areas as we discuss, share, and create practical resources to promote and develop writing across curriculums— yes, even for math. We will provide strategies to tap into students’ creativity, explore multiple forms of written expression, share scaffolding techniques to nurture students in the creative process, explore ways to promote intrinsic motivation, and exchange methods for collaboration with colleagues. Participants will receive ready-to-use materials and idea take-aways for further development. Our evening will conclude with a bit of workshopping and an opportunity to network with fellow participants. _________________
