This workshop introduces a unique poetic structure created and developed by Dinahsta "Miss Kiane" Thomas that expands the traditional haiku into a three-part journey. Participants will learn how to craft a Healing Haiku, a sequence of  three connected haikus that mirror the natural progression of processing an emotion. The Healing Haiku is designed to express raw feelings, emotional movement, and transition to resolve or release.

Through guided prompts, discussion, and intentional writing time, participants will practice using brevity, imagery, and poetic discipline to move from emotional chaos to clarity. This workshop encourages writers to deepen their craft while also discovering how poetry can serve as a powerful tool for reflection, healing, and storytelling.
